Foam Concentrates The aqueous film-forming foams (AFFFs), Class A foams, wetting agents, high-expansion foam concentrates, and protein foams are suitable for ground and air attack, creating firebreaks, use with compressed-air foam systems (CAFS), and mop-up operations.Their products are some of the most environmentally friendly products in their class in the world. AFFF products have 30-70% less fluorochemical content than other UL Listed products on the market, while our alcohol-resistant aqueous film-forming foam (AR-AFFF) has the lowest and best application rate in the industry.
3% AFFF Foam Concentrate Data sheetChemguard 3% AFFF is a specially formulated, synthetic, aqueous film forming foam concentrate. A vapor suppressing aqueous film is formed by the foam solution draining from the expanded foam blanket. It is intended for use at a proportioning rate of 3% (3 parts AFFF concentrate to 97 parts water) on Class B hydrocarbon type fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, etc. Chemguard 3% AFFF is not intended for use on fuels, which are polar solvent/water miscible such as alcohols, ketones, esters, etc.

Chemguard 3% - 3% AR-AFFF is intended for use at a proportioning rate of 3% (3 parts AR-AFFF to 97 parts water) on hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, etc., and on polar solvent fuels such as alcohols, ketones, esters, etc. Chemguard 3% - 3% AR-AFFF is specifically formulated for Topside, or Type II and Type III applications. |
